Based in Fairfield County, Lauren Field has more than 20 years of teaching experience as a learning and reading specialist. She offers one-on-one tutoring sessions, formal reading evaluations and reading screenings. Lauren uses a combination of standardized and informal assessments to determine where to target her instruction.

Her tutoring approach includes Orton-Gillingham and other research-based systematic, sequential, multi-sensory approaches targeted to address identified needs. She believes that all students learn differently and, therefore, she uses a variety of materials, methodologies, and targeted support to differentiate her instruction.
